8/5/2011 0 Comments Fat Sister #2 Checking InThanks to Renee for getting us started! I had a great time cooking with her this past week, and I hope that when she updates us on her use of the "brains" (seitan) that we made (well, she made it, I just told her what to do and supervised) that she finds it acceptable.
Like my slightly more seasoned counterpart, I've found that it's hard after 40 to get rid of this extra. I went veganish a bit ago; I do still occasionally eat cheese and eggs, but only occasionally. I am proud to say that I weighed this morning and managed to not work out for a week and a half and be on the road the entire time and not gain anything. I've got 20 to go to be out of the "overweight" BMI category, so, that's what I'm working on (or off, as the case may be). Our focus here is accountability, but I'm sure we'll be sharing quite a few recipe successes and disasters along the way. I think that to budge this 20 is going to require some shunning of breads and not giving in to the occasional cheese fest.
